Does design really matter? Perhaps not – but for me it’s essential. It gives me a thrill to design forms and functions that are capable of moving people passionately and opening new possibilities.

Passion for design is in my mind, soul and heart, wherever I go.

And my main inspiration is neo-Scandinavian design, influenced by the vibes of London and the humor of Amsterdam, often with elements of fusion, resulting in materials and functions being combined in new and original ways, while always striving for a pure and simple look.

ROEE MAGDASSI

I’m a product designer living and working in Tel Aviv.
My work draws inspiration from a variety of traditions, giving me a unique approach that blends elements of contemporary art and minimalist architecture. My design are characterized by simple, geometric forms and bold, graphic shapes.

My goal is always to create praktical designs with a strong, personal character - designs that are desirable, fun and make you smile.

My design displays typically Danish characteristics, with a clear emphasis on simplicity.

I combine classic organic lines with innovative ideas and details. A large part of my fascination with furniture design comes from the fact that I can build full-scale models of the concepts I have in my head.

I’m firmly convinced that it’s only by doing this that I can truly test the qualities of my products with my own body, assess their durability, and make sure the final result lives up to expectations.
